I was disapointed. their so-called sale prices weren't great at all. I resisted the temptation to buy as a result of simply seeing the word "sale."

Au Contraire---
These are good deals. Most products were discounted at least 50% off, if not 75% off. And the bare minimum discount is 25% off.
Sure, they aren't bargain basement prices. But they aren't bargain basement cosmetics either. If I want some chalky eye shadow, I'll go to Walmart and rummage through the "Wet-n-Wild."
If you buy Stila on a regular basis, you know that they don't run "sales" often. So it's a bonus on items you'd splurge on anyway.
So, I disagree. I think these are fairly priced at a decent deal.
